Luleå Railway Research Center (JVTC) is a non-profit competence centre within Luleå University of Technology, organized directly under the president of the university.

The main purpose is, with focus on Operation and Maintenance, to co-ordinate and distribute railway research and results between the Departments of LTU, satellite companies, members and interested parties.

The information exchange between these provide the Swedish railway with a system striving towards a high level of efficiency and effectiveness..
